Frequently Asked Questions
What ages does Alpha Swim Club accept?
We generally accept swimmers 6 years and older. Swimmers must be comfortable in the water, able to float and kick independently, and meet the requirements of the group they are joining.
Do you offer competitive and non-competitive swimming?
Yes. We offer both non-competitive and competitive programs. Swimmers can start recreationally and, as their skills develop, progress into our competitive pathway.
Can I know the price and schedule before booking a tryout?
We understand that you may want to know the schedule and fees before signing up. However, group schedules and fees vary depending on the swimmer’s skill level and placement.
For this reason, you’ll need to book a tryout first. After the tryout, our coaches will recommend the most appropriate group and provide you with the available schedule and monthly fees for that group.
This ensures we place every swimmer in the program that is best suited to their current ability and goals.

Can my child make up a missed lesson?
Unfortunately, no. We are unable to offer make-up lessons for missed practices. Our pool space, lanes, and coaching staff are scheduled in advance, so we cannot accommodate individual make-up sessions.
We encourage swimmers to attend all scheduled practices whenever possible to get the most out of their program.
How does my child move up a group?
Movement between groups is based on skill, readiness, consistency, attitude, and overall development, rather than age alone. Our coaches continuously evaluate swimmers throughout the season and will let you know when your child is ready to move up to the next group.
We want to make sure each swimmer is fully prepared for the skills, training, and expectations of their next level before moving up.
